Welcome to my web page. I teach courses in Comparative Sociology, International Political Economy, and Asian Studies. I came to the University of Puget Sound in 1998 after completing my dissertation in Geography at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. My research interests include tourism geography, ecotourism, community-based development, and the political economy of Southeast Asia.
