Indirect Interactions Practice Problem
General Ecology (Bio 211)
I've designed this problem to be interactive: answer each part and then click on the "See answer" button. That will lead you to the answer and the next part of the question. Subsequent parts will build on the early parts, but if you check your answers as you go, you can't go too far wrong. Unfortunately, this isn't the way I can construct the exam.

Sage grouse eat sagebrush and are preyed upon by eagles. Rabbits eat grass and are also preyed upon by eagles. Grass and sagebrush compete for soil resources.

Part A

On the following diagram of the interactions between grass, sagebrush, grouse, rabbits, and eagles, indicate which species occupies each position and label the likely sign of each interaction.
