ASUPS Awards

CHARLES T. BATTIN AWARD:
Presented to a junior or senior who has displayed significant potential for future service in the field of government.
CHIMES CUP:
Awarded in recognition of the student or students who have given the most unselfish service to the University.
NORTON CLAPP ARETE AWARD:
An award established in 1983, in honor of the 50th year of trustee service by Norton Clapp, late chairman of the Board of Trustees. Awarded to that graduating senior whom, in the course of his or her college career, has exemplified the highest levels of achievement and personal development.
HERMAN KLEINER BROTHERHOOD AWARD:
An award and scholarship presented to the student who has notably exemplified and fostered the spirit of friendliness and community within the student body.
RALPH OLSON MEMORIAL AWARD:
Awarded to an outstanding senior fraternity member in recognition of his inspiration to the University community.
NANCY RIEHL HOFF AWARD:
An award in honor of alumna and trustee Nancy Hoff. Awarded to an outstanding senior sorority member in recognition of her inspiration to the University community. 
ERIC SPURRELL MEMORIAL GOOD GOVERNMENT AWARD:
Originally the Sigma Nu Good Government Award, and renamed in memory of a former member of the fraternity, this award is presented to the student who has achieved the most for the cause of good government.
SPIRIT TROPHY:
Awarded to the person or persons who have done the most to promote school spirit through extracurricular activities.
ALUMNI ASSOCIATION OUTSTANDING STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT AWARD: 
Presented to a graduating senior who has demonstrated unusual ability in a particular endeavor and, as a result, has achieved regional or national recognition.
OXHOLM AWARD:
Awarded annually to an organization in recognition of superior service to the University.
YUMI KAWAJI OUTSTANDING WOMAN AWARD:
An award commissioned to honor Yumi Kawaji,'87. Conferred on a non-Greek affiliated woman whose record of service and influence most notably continues the legacy of Yumi Kawaji.
SCOTT JACKSON AWARD: An award commissioned to honor Scott Jackson, ASUPS president in 1979. Given to the non-Greek affiliated man whose inspiration and leadership is an exemplary contribution to the University community.
SKY CUP AWARD:
An award which honors Sue Yowell, former Assistant Dean of Students. Conferred on the graduating student who has shown proficiency in at least one of the student media, helped to educate others about the role of media and modeled an acceptance of diversity in his/her daily life.
DOTTIE RASMUSSEN LEADERSHIP AWARD:
This award honors the memory and example of alumnae, Dottie Rasmussen. Given to that outstanding freshman, sophomore, or junior whose exemplary leadership has been a significant positive influence within the campus community.
ERIC J. KONZELMAN AWARD:
A student-to-student scholarship awarded to the junior who best exemplifies Eric's leadership in a multitude of on- or off-campus activities.
