Buildings & FacilitiesThe University of Puget Sound was founded by the Methodist Church in 1888, and was originally located in what is now downtown Tacoma. In 1923, after two moves, the university finally settled at its current campus in the North End of Tacoma. Since that time, the 97-acre campus has grown to include more than 30 buildings, most of which have been built in the Tudor-Gothic style and nestled amid manicured lawns, fir trees, and fountains. Each building has a different purpose and distinct personality, and all are flexible enough to meet a variety of needs. The following is a brief overview of the facilities regularly available for summer programs. Still looking for more information?
