A competitive varsity athletics program provides students with the opportunity to select fields of endeavor from 23 intercollegiate sports. Highly qualified coaches encourage the one-fifth of our student body who participates in intercollegiate athletics to challenge themselves, taking advantage of the University's excellent facilities. Academic and need-based financial assistance are available for qualified students through the regular University financial aid process.

Outstanding conference, regional, and national competition provides Puget Sound students with the opportunity to test their athletic abilities. The University is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III and of the Northwest Conference (NWC). This is a conference composed of small private institutions in Washington and Oregon. Additional affiliation includes U.S. Rowing.

As the long tradition of success by Logger athletes and teams attests, Puget Sound athletic programs are built on integrity and the true spirit of competition which is the development of individual excellence.
