Mac Gebbers - UPS Male Athlete of the Week - Baseball

Sophomore Mac Gebbers went 12-23 (.529) with two homeruns, one double, and eight RBI's as the Loggers won four of five games on the road in California over Spring Break. Gebbers had six runs scored and four stolen bases in four attempts for the week, leading the Loggers as they improved their overall record to 10-6. Puget Sound resumes conference play this week, traveling to Parkland, Washington Friday and Saturday for a three-game series with the Lutes of Pacific Lutheran.

Lindsay Fujita - UPS Female Athlete of the Week - Softball

Freshman Lindsay Fujita led the Logger's softball team to a 4-2 week at the Sun West Tournament in southern California over Spring Break, hitting a team leading .455 in six games played. Fujita had ten hits, including her first collegiate home run, six RBI's, and posted a .636 slugging percentage, as the Logger's improved their overall record to 11-6. Puget Sound returns to conference action this week, hosting Willamette Friday at 1:00pm and Linfield College Saturday at Noon.
